Why is Elon Musk a hero and most likely future Martian? 🙂
Well I think he is the most productive and efficient human on this planet. This guy created X.com that turned into PayPal.com that latter sold to Ebay. Started Tesla EV company, and soon after Space X. He purchased back the domain X.com, and he purchased Tesla.com to replace TeslaMotors.com. Tesla.com was acquired for $11,000,000USD , took 10 years to complete the deal, and a lot of effort. That’s another story for another day… Still think domains are a bad investment for your company?
What impresses me the most about Elon Musk are his goals/targets. His goals, targets and commitments are OUT OF THIS WORLD BIG. 🙂  He’s like “Hey we are going to Mars. I don’t know how, I don’t know when, and I don’t know what it will take!” His “big think” is most impressive. I would call this “Commit first, figure it out latter” because creativity would follow.
A commitment to me means I have to invest my time and money. Most people make commitments without investing both time and money; those are not real commitments.
Elon Musk’s commitments are HUGE, jaw dropping, insane! GREAT!!! He spends a lot of his time obsessing on getting to Mars, and he spends billions of $$$ to reach his targets!
This goes to shows that nothing is impossible. I have no doubt that he’s the only one that can pull this off.
